Portes Du Soleil Snowshoeing Trips
A lovely walk along the south side of Mont Chery, not such good views today as a snowstorm (yeah!) was coming in. Managed a hot chocolate at The BelleVue rather empty now all the ski museum has left.
Classic trip Morzine - Col de Coux. In winter, the road from Erigné to Les Mines d'Or is closed to traffic, so one starts from Erigné, then up through the forest to MInes d'Or and from there pas the Freterolles farm up to the Col. Short winter walk, ideal for snowshoeing. Can be extended to Lac Damoz des Moulins and then back to Mont Evian as a round trip
The classic Col Encrenaz-Col Ratti trip. Wonderful views. Great for snowshoeing, back-country skiing or just walking. Very easy and because of this there can be quite a few people. Not to be missed in any case.
