Point Reyes National Seashore Trail Running Trips
The family camped at Samuel P Taylor State Park (site 31). I started this run in late afternoon at 1600 and hoped to make it to the fireroad that descends down to the reservoir. I turned back because I didn't want to be stuck on the trail after sunset. As it turns out I only had to go maybe another quarter mile after my turnaround to hit the fireroad.

Drove to Tomales Point Trailhead for the first time (nice road for a hard bike ride from San Francisco) and did an out and back run. The last mile to the tip of Tomales point is a little sandy and following the trail can be difficult as it disappears with the sandy terrain.
