Heading up near the Burke Ridge trail... west of Burke peak. Took the lake view trail and ventured up to the viewpoint. Hit snow close to the top, and was snowing pretty good up there... socked in so not much of a view but nice to get out there

Not such a hot day, so a hike seemed a good idea. We didn't anticipate the amount of snow up top, but it wasn't much of a problem. Was nice to see the lake, a bit too cold to hang around and explore though....we'll be back on a warmer day for that, maybe bring some fishing rods too.
