This is a short walk around the Poole Caverns near Buxton, the Shire (few hobbits around though - but Rivendale is close, but all the elves have left ...).The walk goes around a camping ground in a hollow, and to Solomon's Tower (Solomon's Keep?). Short, but nice air!The cavern was closed, but is said to be very nice to visit. Car park costs a pound.

Another of our "Walm up walks" to gauge our fitness and pace for doing the 3 peaks... Follow the road from Upper Hulme towards the roaches and park along here. This is where the walk starts. We parked quite a long way down but there are plenty of parking bays further along!
