Rockburn Branch Park has a plethora of trails and off-trail trails to suit the needs of all. Sadly, I accidently turned off my gps and did not record it all but it was a great day for a new trail.
Took two new mountain bike riders out ... I didn't mean for the ride to be this long (we took a couple of wrong turns ;) ).
Jay led the ride for The Bicycle Escape/Single Speed Outlaw Factory Team. Riders: Jay, Joe, Nate, Eric, and BALER
Lugged a BOB trailer around filled with a bunch of trailwork tools today. A little heavy and a little rough on some of the climbs using my singlespeed.
5 kids (1 adult), a great park, nice weather, some sandwhiches, and a Garmin. A couple of the caches required hiking through prickers.
Colin and I rode for a couple hours after work.
Afternoon ride. Dropped onto Morning Choice from Landing Rd and rode the log trail to Rockburn Loop. Bombed down waterbars, across the road bridge and went under the RR bridge to Soapstone. Went up the killer climb and picked up Santee Branch. Followed that on to the Charcoal Trail, Sawmill then down Bull Run to the paved trail. Followed that downstream then climbed up to the Nunnery and down the rocky trail...
