It's winter and everybody was getting a bad case of cabin fever because of the continual bad weather in southern utah, so we decided to take a road trip on Las
Vegas to ride the trails and Blue Diamond for a couple of days The weather was great and we got in plenty of riding.
Nice weekend ride, taking full advantage of the cooler weather here in the desert.
This was a quick geocaching trip to an unnamed ridge in the Spring Mountains. It has been dubbed Lookout Ridge because of the outstanding view of the Las Vegas Valley from the top. There are no trails, so we used a topo and follwed a wash, complete with bighorn sheep trail, up to the ridgeline and walked out toward Las Vegas. The return trip was back the way we came.
