nice easy hike into some old growth timber. fantastic creek pools and falls. used to mined for iron ore, lead, gold and silver in the late 1800's
Fun hike lots to see. Water was so clear and the pools really looked opal in color. We went slower on this one because there was so much to see.

A four mile hike from the parking area and a 3.5 mile hike with a brutal 13-15% non-stop incline from the trail head. The trail is full of switchbacks, and slope on both sides of the trail.
