This hike is easy to moderate. Along the trail there are rest benches and many viewpoints to enjoy . to the south you can see Pyramid Peak. At the end of the trail a gorgeous view of Diablo Lake. I went with 4 others, Tonia, Bill, Kathy & Ruby.

The Ross Dam trail is short with nice views to the lake and walk on the dam. It's another short hike down to the Diablo Ferry from Ross dam. Crossing the suspension bridge continue on the 3 miles Diablo lake trail, which has a few nice views on the lake canyon.

The one that almost broke me... Ed and I set off at 8pm Tuesday night, we walked throughout the night in 1 foot deep power. By 9am the following morning (13 hours after starting) we called it quits and headed home. This was the hardest and most dangerous trip I have EVER been on!(we had avalanche and glacial crevasses to contend with) It was an epic 16 hour return trip that literally fucked...
