A wonderful trip into the blast area of Mt St. Helens, to Loowit Falls which exists the crater proper, and on west to another main drainage of the crater with the majestic cliffs of the Sasquatch Steps.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens, we attempted a climb but we turned back at 6,800 ft. due to poor weather and zero visibility.
