Camped @ Elbert Creek Trailhead the night before our hike. Very nice area. Campground was full but there are plenty of other spots to camp. Found a spot next to the creek. Started our hike before dawn and topped out at about 9:00 am on a beautiful, but windy and cold day. This was a very easy hike up the Northeast Ridge route.
