Every 14er has it's own character, a unique signature that you'll remember long after you forget the crowded trail, and summit distractions. The "Willows" for me, was a unique feature that I have not encountered on any other 14er.

The day started with plans to hit a sunny day at Loveland Ski Area, but a relaxed start put us in position for a beautiful day of hiking in one of my all-time favorite parts of Colorado's Front Range. We had no plans of cresting our familiar friend Mt. Evan's, and enjoyed the mild offerings of it's spectacular glacial valley.
