Hike from Mountain Lake in Moran State Park to the summit of Mt. Constitution at 2400 ft. The last portion of the hike is missing because my iphone stopped recording it from some reason. The switchback portion is pretty strenuous but the views from the top make it well worth the effort.
We hiked from Mountain Lake to the top of Mt Constitution. There were plenty of people hanging around the lake, but once we got into the woods, headed up the mountain, we didn't run into anybody else until the summit. Some of the switchbacks are steep, and I became very tired. Maybe it was the 10 mile kayaking trip I did that morning. Anyway, the views are spectacular and I'm very glad...
Took Maggie and did a 3 mile round trip - most of it single track, well groomed trails, fun up hills and numerous stream crossings... next time, will do it counter-clockwise :)
