Tips
Weekend parking is a problem. The trail head only has space for about 4 or 5 cars. Better to park by the beach parking lot and walk a couple of hundred yards to the trail head. Or park at the Gray Whale Cove State Beach Parking lot and hike on the Gray Whale Cove Trail until it meets with Old Pedro Mountain Road or the North Peak Road.To see this area on a nice day, check out this trip:www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=4711
