This is an easy hike 2.51 miles to the falls one way for a total of 5.2 miles. The hike goes along a beautiful cascading mountain stream with a few smaller falls along the way. Early autumn hike from the base of Brasstown Bald to the headwaters spring of the Chattahoochee River.
Hiked from Hogpen Gap on the Richard Russell Scenic Hwy south on the Appalachian Trail to the Whitley Gap Trail. Took it up over the summit of Wildcat Mountain then on down to the A.T. Shelter at Whitley Gap.
