This trip was amazing. The Marble Mountain Wilderness has a completely different feel than the nearby Trinity Alps wilderness... More northern Rockies and less High Sierra. Beautiful lakes, meadows, and an infinite number of places to go from here. It was still cool into July (sky high, frying pan and shadow lakes were all partially frozen still in July). Although there were a lot of cars at the trailhead it wasn't very crowded and we never saw more than 10 people. Between the two valleys (marble and sky high) there is definitely room to spread out.
