My wife and I went to see the manatees that call this spring their home during the winter months. The constant 72 degree spring water enables the manatees to stay warm when the surrounding waters get colder due to seasonal temperature fluctuation.
We started at DeBary Hall and took the Spring-to-Spring trail to the entrance of Gemini Springs. We followed one of the three loops. Once we were on the St Johns, we decided to hunt for a Geocache. We did not find one, but it was a lovely walk with perfect Fall weather and lots of pretty photo shots.
During the 2010 spring break, we rented a cabin at Blue Springs State Park, Florida.
