Community Trips
Starting at Arbolado Park in Walnut Creek, we did a loop hike in the Lime Ridge Open Space with the East Bay Casual Hikers. There had been showers overnight and the skies still threatened somewhat but we stayed dry throughout the hike and even got some rays of sunshine. But we did encounter some muddy sections on the trails; particularly right at the beginning and at the end.
Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers group. We started at Arbolado Park in Walnut Creek and hiked in the Lime Ridge area, including going through two tunnels under Ygnacio Valley Rd. to enter the northern part of the open space.
Inventory and removal of fencing on failed oak plantings.
