Kings Beach State Recreation Area features 700 feet of beautiful frontage property along the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. This day-use only area is resplendent with Ponderosa Pine and is popular for summer water sports.
Getting There
The park is located in downtown Kings Beach, northeast of Tahoe City. Approximately one mile from the Nevada State Line, the easiest route is to take I-80 to Truckee, then travel 13 miles southeast along Highway 267.

Summer temperatures range from about 75 degrees during the day to the low 40's at night. Winter temperatures average from a high of 40 to a low of 20 degrees.
