Kenting National Park is a national park located in the Hengchun Peninsula of Pingtung County, Taiwan, covering Hengchun, Checheng and Manjhou
Townships. Established on January 1, 1984, it is Taiwan's oldest and
southernmost national park, covering the southernmost area of the
Taiwan island. Administered by the Executive Yuan's Ministry of the Interior, this national park is well-known for its tropical climate and sunshine, scenic mountain and beach, the Spring Scream rock-band festival held in every March, and has long been one of the most favorite resort places in Taiwan.You may do a lot of different kinds of water sports in Kenting including

later on the area was covered by thin soil after crust uplifting and
weathering, resulting in strange but beautiful reef landscape including
limestone caves, cliff, canyon, stalagmites, stalactites, and other
geological landscape. The rocks have become a place where plants
rooted; therefore people often can be giant trees winding through the
rock cliffs. Such natural landscape is absolutely stunning.

Community Trips
墾丁大尖石山，亦有人稱為大尖山，海拔高318公尺，是墾丁國家公園代表性的地理標誌，山頂上視野佳，墾丁美景一覽無遺。攀登大尖石山，須攀爬樹根和繩索而上，有部份幾乎垂直而上，山頂稜線有些只能容一人，驚險又刺激，腳力欠佳者最好不要嘗試。由於大尖山近年來因岩層剝落，墾管處為了遊客安全已封山不開放攀登，想攀登大尖石山須冒著可能被墾管處開罰3000元的風險。
