Start at the Aubineau Trailhead on the north side of the San Francisco Peaks, reached from Flagstaff via US 180 and Forest Roads 151 and 418. Krista and I decided to spend our New Years in Flagstaff. We spent New Years Eve downtown and watched the Great Pine Cone Drop at the Hotel Weatherford. The following day we decided to head to the Nordic Center to try Cross Country Skiing. We did that in the morning, then we traded in our skis for snow shoes and spent the afternoon snowshoeing.
