Formerly known as Hamersly range national park, it is the second largest park in Western Australia at 627445ha, twice the size of Luxemburg.Covers 3 aboriginal language groups and includes WA's 2 highest mountains. Most famous for it's rugged landscapes and spectacular gorges plummeting over 100m down through hard Iron stone, some of the oldest exposed rock in the world.It has beautiful swimming holes year round and is a top spot for star gazing.Most comonly visited during the months of april to november.
