Hong Kong Island Trail Running Trips
A nice run on the hong kong trail. Departure from Parkview (Wong Nai Chung Gap Road) well known by taxi drivers.
A bit tired from a crazy week-end, didn't
aim at any speed and enjoyed the beautiful weather, also took photos and
am trying to geotag them using the GPS track ;-)
A new route from home. Up Morning Trail into Long Fu Shan Park and then at pagoda headed right down steps towards Pokfield Rd. Nice gardens down the hill. Came out at construction of new HKU campus. Several turns later popped out at Pok Fu Lam Rd. petrol station. Headed back up towards Morning trail via new route and stumbled across a great section of trail just below Hatton rd. I now...
Coldest day of this Winter in Hong Kong...Heavy fog and very cloudy. Was drizzling in the afternoon. GPS reception was bad - lost 4km on the GPS...The 6hr23mins included about 45mins of powergel time, Snickers time, loo time and at least 30mins of waiting around the Quarry because there were blastings...ITB in the right leg started to hurt after #50 so it was more walking and jogging instead of running.Decided to end...
