The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Park passes may be purchased at the fee collection entrance station daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is a really nice hike with some nice history. Once you get off of the green trail and onto the blue trail that will take you up to the Old Stone Fort be prepared to go uphill. This part is very steep until you reach the upper campground. Very nice hike overall!You can make this a 7+ mile hike if you go left at the Old Stone Fort instead of right...
