08.09.2011 / Auf unserer Rundreise waren wir nur einen einzigen Tag am Grand Canyon und das war definitiv viiiiiel zu kurz!! So kam nur diese relativ kurze Wanderung zustande. Es war traumhaft schön und ich wäre so gern noch sehr viel tiefer abgestiegen. Einfach überwältigend!

I get up at 4am and drive to the South Rim. After a 20 minute shuttle ride, I get off at Hermits Rest and hit the trail. It is a nice hike down and I soon meet up with the group. I share muffins and juice and fall in with the group on the way out. Nice day.
