This is the famous West Rim Trail from Lava Point. It is typically a 2 day hike covering 14.7 miles. The ending decent to the canyon floor is challenging. Check water availability before departing. You will need to arrange a Lava Point shuttle.
Took a shuttle to Lava Point then walked the West Rim trail through to the Grotto trailhead. The walk was nothing special at first but kept getting better the further we went, winding its way through cliffs and canyons.
