Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is a great place to go to walk around and escape the city atmosphere. Home to the De Young Museum, California Academy of Sciences, Flower Conservatory, several small lakes, and many recreation areas it is not surprising to find it packed on a nice day. With Ocean Beach and the Pacific ocean to the west, famouse Haight-Ashbury to the east, and other exciting areas to the North and South, it is a must-see on any trip to San Francisco.
