From our camp at Crescent Lake, this was a great day-hike loop we did up to Dad's Lake, then up to Shale Mountain (12,399 ft) on the Continental Divide; then over the high plateau to the top of a drainage that leads back down to Crescent Lake.This is in the NW corner of the Wind River Range in Wyoming. Stunning scenery. Great hiking. No crowds (unless you count the big horn sheep)....

Climbed Gannet Peak as round trip from Gannett glacier to summit and return via Gooseneck glacier.
Started at Titcomb Basin, crossed Bonney Pass, climbed Gannett Peak, crossed Dinwoody Glacier, tried to climb Turret Peak, got caught in hail storm, GPS batteries died, crossed Dinwoody Glacier, crossed Bonney Pass to Titcomb Basin.
