it's only 2 and a half hours by train from zurich - during weekdays, you will only meet a handful of hikers on this trek

if the weather is good, you'll be able to enjoy wonderful sights - on the one hand looking to the upper part of the valley of Engiadina, but also, once you're high enough, looking to the south east in direction of the passo dal fuorn and the swiss national park...
