Cotswolds Walking Trips
One leg of the Cotswold Way from Cleeve Hill to Stanway via Winchcombe and Hailes Abbey.
Managed to escape the people (there were more people than trees) by going off the trail, but it didn't rain and its actually quite interesting observing people from afar. Some of them even looked human.

From the car park near the rangers centre and round the lake and follow the signs for the site of the roman villa (not much to see there though) just as you go through the gate in to the villa field it's worth taking a quick detour down the trail on the left to visit the beekeepers shed, the beekeeper is a really friendly bloke and pretty interesting to talk to if...
