A crew of five from the GBA (not2b, sfodoug, preyas, bykenut, and McDur) headed for Brushy Peak, aka "Puzzle Mountain", to find a bunch of puzzle caches, including the solution to this year's Venona coin puzzle. It was a beautiful sunny day. My picture positions are slightly off, and there was lots of cross-country hiking (trails? what trails?) to get to where we needed to be.

New Years Day is often a little cloudy to folks, but this News Years Day Hike was quite the extreme! Dense fog except for a little break just past the high point of the hike.
