I took a stroll around the trail at the Booker T. Washington National Monument. The trail is numbered with touring information that can either be read or heard through calling a number on your cellphone. There are various farm buildings, old cemeteries, and animals along the way, which makes for an informative and fun trip.

This is a nice National Monument to visit and learn about the life of Booker T. Washington. There are several buildings on the property showing life at the turn of the 19th century. The kids will love the farm animals and the nature lover will love the hike through the woods. There is also an old slave cemetery to discover.
