Community Trips
Last practice before back-to-back tests in Utah this weekend. Fezzik pulled 105# (his competition weight is 90) all the way up and down - a first at Bayfront!
A simple hike for family and friends (including two 2.5-year-olds). Some of the smaller trails were a bit muddy (not surprising given the recent rains), but totally passable.Only upon my return and reviewing the maps did I find that much of the park's graphical material was made by friend (and fellow LSJUMB Old Fart) Kathy Switky.
Conditions were clear and cool with damp grass. All food drops were every 5 steps.Track1: 36 minutes old, 180 steps with a light cross breeze in a couple of places, tracked in 7 minutes. Getting Maverick ready for a BMDCA open draft test some time this year. He was pulling 80 pounds today, and we're working our way up to a little over 110.
Getting Fezzik ready for a BMDCA open draft test some time this year; one more pass and he'll have his MDD title. He was pulling 60 pounds today, and we're working our way up to 105 (he will be pulling 90 pounds in the test.)
