First place we checked out in Barcelona was the waterfront, which has some very nice buildings and interesting sculptures dotted around it, such as the giant lobster.  Barcelona was a lot warmer than the rest of europe,  and you could tell that it would be very hot and busy in summer, as it was almost dead when we were there.  After the waterfront we then took a walk past park ciutadella, towards...

Tibidabo / Barcelona

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
3.3 miles
One of the routes not to be missed for it guarantees an uninterrupted view of Barcelona and the Mediterranean. The Tibidabo Mountain is one of the city's landmarks for a number...

Beautifull town. Of course Gaudi left is traces and these are certainly worth following. Best tapas experience at the Cerveceria Catalana, worst in Barceloneta. Running: Monjuic, Parc Guell (early in the morning) and the harbour.

My favorite city in Europe so far. Lovely scenery, friendly people, rich history. A day trip to Montserrat or Sitges is recommended.
