This is the regular Tuesday Night loop ride at Lake Chabot with the Valley Spokesmen Cycling Club.  Temperatures are getting cooler especially when you drop down to the lake level.  The trail was not so dusty due to the recent rains which made following other riders more tolerable.  Chris from Livermore Cyclery in Dublin brought along a vintage Gary Fisher steel frame hardtail.  When we dropped down to the lake he had...

Brandon Trail is a wide fire road for the most part. Weekday wasn\\\'t busy, but weekends would be full of fast moving mountain bikes; not pleasant. East and West Shore trail is paved asphalt elevated a distance above the lake. Not recommended - take the Columbine Trail on the North Shore of the lake instead - much prettier.
