On Saturday David and I went skiing at Alpine Meadows (well, he snowboarded). For me, it was the my first trip up to the snow this season so I was very excited.The weather was pretty warm and sunny, which meant light clothing and icy slopes in the shade. The snow in the sun wasn't too bad, so we mostly stuck to the slopes in the sun.My Forerunner died a little after lunch...

First time skiing for the season, which is always exciting. The weather was warm which was nice for me, but not so great for skiing (everything in the shade was very icy). Despite that, I had a great time.

I hadn't visited Alpine in over 10 years, and it was nice coming back, although if I spend another day there I probably would have wanted more runs to choose from, especially when a number are closed due to conditions.
