The Air Line Rail Trail follows the railbed of the New Haven, Middletown & Willimantic, later the Boston & New York Air Line Railroad.The portion shown is the southern part of the Air Line South State Park Trail.Various web sites and signage along the trail use both Air Line and Airline. My Easter Egg Hunt in Columbia/Lebanon was good although I substituted caches for eggs. The map also includes the driving distance from Mono Pond over to the parking area on Leonard Bridge Rd. Didn't affect my time avg. speed though.
