I was supposed to do the marathon, but chickened out. Luckily there was a 15k race on basically the same course, so all I had to do was go left instead of right. We arrived very
early in Istanbul
and had the opportunity to see how the city wakes up. We
walked from the bus station through neighborhoods awaking from the singing from the mosques,
through Cemetery - Park to get to the historical part of the city exactly when it
