Offroading | 9.7 miles
This is a nice short trail that begins at Chamisoso Canyon Rd off NM 337 (South 14) and re-joins NM 337 at Juan Thomas Rd.Turn off of Chamiso Canyon Rd on FR 462. This is not a very maintained road and the trail is rocky at points. There are several alternate routes that will all end up near the same place. For the most part this is a stock friendly trail with...

Chattanooga (historical), Colorado, United States
Offroading | 12.3 miles
One of, if not the, most infamous 4WD trails in Colorado. Not due to it's technical difficulty but it's history, and there is that little issue of the possibility of falling off one of those tight switchbacks, which, by the way, are fricking awesome!  Spectacular scenery all the way.   I had been eyeballing this trip since the mid 80s when I had a couple of old Broncos (a 72 and a 74) but...

Elephant Hill / Beef Basin
by Swath on May 26, 2009
Canyon Lands, Utah, United States
Offroading | 89 miles
Elephant hill is an excellent 4WD trail. Plenty of great scenery, a number of good little rock formations to view and crawl over.  The confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers is a spectacular view and well worth the short hike to see.  On this trip we went in the Elephant Hill side and left via Beef Basin by exiting at the south end.  Very long loop, a full days ride with...
