This was a great hike with snippets of history along the way. We started at Grainne Ni Mhaille's Rockfleet Castle on the shore line and wound our way up and onto the bog. From there we followed bog roads and eventually the old railway line to Park Hotel Mulrany. The old railway line will shortly open as a walkway and cycleway.
