A group of nine of us did the wondeful "Mt Rose to  Floriston" tour today.  We started by setting up the shuttle at Floriston at 7:00 and then got everyone up to the Rose backcountry parking lot by ~9.  We had clouds most of the day, which kept the snow really light.  After a 1200 foot climb to the top of "Hourglass", we went to the next bowl and skied "Broken Glass"....

By bus from Lech to Zug (Haltestelle Kloesterle), from there on the cross-country trail along the Lech valley to the Spulerbach and to the far end of the loop (towards Formarinsee). There I turned off the GPS. The very last GPS position apparently is wrong, and so are some of the elevation and speed statistics. :-) Click on Stats on the top-left of the map to see them.
