First trip to Piel in Aurora (Leisure 17). Wind F3/4 on the nose going, zilch coming back.
Apart from having freezing soaked hands & feet (rain both ways half the time) it was an excellent trip.

Wind was force 3 from the SE. 2 OR 3 miles past the winmills at Walney the wind died to nothing and we all motored until a few miles off Maughold Head when the wind picked up again giving us a nice...

Turns out it was flooded and before we fix it, we rowed the rascal back to the Highlight were we had to disconnect the fuel and pull the starter about 20 or 30 times to get all the fuel out of...
To begin her trip down to Portugal Cumulus needed taking from Glasson to Preston. Sailed out on the 8AM tide into F6-7 Westerly winds. The first 9 hours were pretty miserable slamming into the 3 or 4 meter confused seas, it was misty damp and cold. The sun came out the wind dropped as we entered the Ribble though.
