We zijn vanuit Sur naar Wadi Bani Khalid gereden. Ook daar weer uitgenodigd door een Omani voor het eten en een andere Omani voor het slapen.Dit hebben we maar afgeslagen. We wilde tenslotte kamperen im de wadi. Daarna naar de Wahiba Sands. Nu zitten we in Ibra. We zijn naar de oude stad Ibra (Al Minzfah) geweest die nog deels bewoond is.
We zitten nu in Sur. Van waaruit we tochtjes hebben gemaakt naar Ras al Jinz
Het schildpaddenreservaat. Een foto uit 1979 hebben we een weefgetouw gevonden. We hebben geluncht bij omani's. Door de Wahibasands naar een kustplaats gereden. Vandaag was het nogal fris, bewolkt en veel wind (22 graden) we hebben het erg naar onze zin.
We hebben een fantastische vakantie en hebben al veel gedaan. Onze oude huizen bekeken, de grote moskee bezocht, nieuwjaarsborrel met oliebollen en champagne op het PDO strand. Muscat paleis en de Muttrah souk. Wadi Yity waar

Between my talk this morning and two talks later today I took off to explore Muscot, the main city in Oman. It is a little over 100 miles from Iran across the Gulf of Oman.
