Whittlesea Challenge (65klm short course) with Dave, Bernie and Mark. Attroscious day with fierce headwinds, rain and mechanical failures (for me). Got to within 15klm of the finish when my bike succumbed and my first ride in a SAG wagon.

Took forever to drive to Round Corner. Luckily I left home early. At the start, 13 riders showed up: 3 ladies, 10 blokes. This was one of the more serious bunch as it was advertised to be Medium-Hard at 72 km.The first half of the ride was quite exciting in a different sense.
