A great day hike in the mountains above Balastrand, even in some rainy weather, still a great trip – and I imagine it'd be absolutely spectacular on a sunny clear day.
Fra Kongsberg, følg RV 40 opp Numedal
retning Geilo (7% stigning opp på fjellet etter Rødberg). Avstanden fra
Rødberg 30 km og fra Oslo 220 km.
Kjør forbi skilt mot Imingfjell og opp mot Dagalifjell. Nesten oppe på
toppen, ta til høyre inn til Uvdal Høyfjells- og hyttesenter og parker der.
This was a shore excursion from Ocean Princess at Geiranger, Norway. We had a short coach ride out of the village to our drop off point then a walk up a gravel road to the start point of our hike. Our guide was a young Norwegian, fit as a mountain goat. The weather was incredible for Norway, sunshine all the way which made it quite hot for the climb to the falls....

Tur på hardangervidda. Gpsen hadde noe problemer med å registrere siste del av turen. Bildene er tatt med gpsen og har elendig kvalitet.
MedViz Walk & Talk with Ragnar & Packo -- great evening hike!
Start fra parkeringa på Skifjell (Ved den gammle Skifjellhytta). Følg stien mot Vealøs. Stien er tydelig og mye brukt. Noen bratte og steinete partier. Du kan ikke ta feil av stien oppover. Ta gjerne turen om Østre Vealøs, det er bra merket. Turen er ikke så lang som min GPS spor viser, da jeg vandret noe fram og tilbake under fotografering, o.s.v. Mye gode blåbær.....Merking og rydding er utført av Porsgrunn og omegn turistforening (POT)....
