We have seen so much in the magazines about gaited horses that we decided our trip south to visit family would coordinate nicely with a visit to Walking After Midnight Farm in Va. They raise, train and sell Tennessee Walking horses and Spotted Saddle horses. They travel fast and smooth. My son and i did the 1 hour horse ride available for rent through Skyland. Nice ride down through an old apple orchard. We saw several fawns and a bear.
