Hiking with Sam from Cedar Bayou Marina, on the Cross Timbers trail, to the Eagles Roost campsite. Only tracked the return hike (not the outbound the day before).
This trail is a great route for beginner and intermediate. We went here for a good trail to start training for our trek in yosemite. We had previously been treking up to 10 miles a day with no problem. However this trail was more difficult than we first anticipated because all of our training before was on flatlands. I know it is small but beware of the elevation.
