Attempted to ride CR309 today- but too muddy as it rained all day yesterday. So, Randy led us around on roads North of Fredericksburg and to Brunch at the Hill Top Cafe.

Saturday trip with Suzy and James & Kathy Tabb. Stopped at Dutchman Family Winery for a sampling and to buy wine for lunch. Then to Salt Lick for a great lunch. We finished the day after a visit to market days in Wimberly at Driftwood Winery with a bottle of red and some great live music.

Stanley Klaerner met me at the Fina station West of town on 290 this morning and showed me some great roads NW of Fredericksburg. We saw deer, turkey, a roadrunner and lots of great scenery on a wonderful ride. We had burgers and cold drinks at the general store in Doss and returned home before it got too hot. Thanks again Stan for showing me around your stomping grounds. I guess they are mine...
