This place was awesome! So glad we were able to enjoy it :)
The map got extended due to my phone dying. The trail actually ends where it started but we drove away so it continued tracking. Also, Jessica ended up hurting her ankle and Wayne had to literally carry her out! On our way to ER- hoping for just a sprang.
The girls were out for Columbus Day and I was off work so we decided to go to the Mineral Wells State Park. We have been to the Cross Timbers Trail Head on the other end of the park but never to the rock climbing area. The girls and I enjoyed the trip and have all vowed to return and do some more serious climbing. There were several others in the area...
While out for a hike i found a great little wall to do some short climbs on.. Its not a very high wall but its great for a workout. The wall is located on the trail right under the dart rail.. I made a map from the dart rail station to show you how to get there... Have fun
