Was doing really well...until I wasn't. I've figured out the ridge lift, but thermals keep escaping me. I only tried once, and I clearly should have tried twice.
Everything was going great until I rounded Bedford and made a move for the ridge to the north. I noticed as soon as I got there that there was no lift! Slowly dying on the ridge, without a thermal in sight, I barely managed to get through a low spot into the valley. Of course, there were no thermals in the valley, either. I actually almost made it to Martinsburg airport before...
