Parked at woodland valley CG. Headed up yellow trail (Phoenicia east branch) west. Short mileage as the crow flys but it was all up hill from this direction. Kinda tough for a first time backpack trip with 40lbs on your pack! But we did it up to "Giant ledge". Set up camp, had fire, good times with son.
